Engine: Reciprocating 6-cylinder spark ignition, air cooled, Continental type O-470-U developing 230 BHP (171 kW).

Propeller: 2-blade McCauley C2A34C204.

Undercarriage: Fixed tricycle landing gear.

Electrical system: 14 volt (12 volt battery), fitted with external start DC power receptacle and internal cigarette lighter socket.

Age: The aircraft was manufactured in 1977, the engine was Blue Seal overhauled at 3532 hours, and the airframe is now approximately 4400 hours total time. After many years of overhauls, a new propeller was fitted at 4001 airframe hours.

Airworthiness standard: Normal category.
